Have you ever bypassed the ticket counter and used the self-service kiosk to get your boarding pass to board your airline? Bret was part of the team leading the UI strategy for the very first airline to do so - American Airlines.

Have you ever ordered a pizza online? Bret Stout is concepted the idea and presented to Pizza Hut - the opportunity to eliminate "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut can you hold please?" and enhance brand experience by allowing consumers to order pizza online.

Ever use an app to remind you to take your meds? Bret concepted the idea for this app for Express Scripts.

Do you remember when the smaller "he" clothes detergent containers came out? P&G was concerned consumers would think they were getting less. Bret came up with the campaign idea to say "First we made it stronger. Then we made it smaller."

Did you ever try a Diet Coke Plus because you believed it was "a great thing made even better"? Bret created the tagline, created the hand-illustrated characters, and also created an app to make drinking Diet Coke Plus fun.

Have you ever gone online to get an auto insurance quote? Bret came up with the idea for a 'quick insurance quote' for Nationwide Insurance.

Have you ever take American Airlines over another airline because you knew they had more legroom throughout coach? Bret wanted to show what More-Room "feels like" – so he created an online video of a plane stretching with the voiceover "No, we didn't make our planes bigger, we just gave you more room throughout coach". The video was click on by 34.5 million viewers to go to the AA More Room microsite.

Have you ever booked a Norwegian Cruise because you knew you wouldn't be treated like a 'robot'? Bret took the 'Freestyle Cruising' to an elevated value proposition by creating the campaign "Don't be a Robot".

Ever use the next-generation, non-linear booking engine for Norwegian Cruise Lines? Bret concepted the idea for a state-of-the-art, non linear booking engine.

Ever use a touch-enabled Palm Pre, Blackberry or HP touchscreen? Bret led the strategy and creative for these early smart phones.

Ever use an HP TouchSmart screen? Bret was brought in on the team by HP for the user interaction design.

Bret was brought in by HP to help early user interface design and development of the first handheld tablet, led the product launch video teasers for CES, and even named the product (the previous name was "the HP Dreamscreen 500"). Note: The HP Slate came out before the iPad.

Ever visit the Texas Instruments website? Bret had suggested they make their heavy tech site more user-friendly (like a consumer retail site). As a test, Bret created the "TI eStore" landing page promoting only one DSK product. The result was they sold more DSK developer kits in the first 30 days than they had sold the entire previous year. As a result, TI had the agency redesign the entire TI website.
